Blister after toe nail removed. Normal?

Whole toe nail was taken off in a surgery a week ago and the right cuticle is becoming a bigger blister every day. The skin is black and blue and puffy on the right side of the toe. Other then that my toe feel fine. Is it normal to blister after surgery????? Should I pop it????? What should I do???????Blister after toe nail removed. Normal?
Your toe nail is there to protect the top of your toe, since it is not there stuff like wearing shoes and socks will cause blisters because the skin was never exposed before. You might want to drain the blister with a sterilized needle and then protect that part with a band aid or mole skin until your body grows back the nail. If you keep it clean and avoid irritation you should be fine. Try wearing an open toe sandal with a band aid, it should help!Blister after toe nail removed. Normal?
Hi, this your daughter here. My only reply is stop worrying about your toe every second of the day! Feel better!
