I opened a door yesterday and cut my toe nail up the middle. Now it's just kind of sitting there and bleeding a lot. I had it covered with gauze and tape but now what? Do I need to cut off the nail or just leave it?Broken toe nail.....?
Leave it for as long as you can. a new nail will grow out and the damaged one will fall off on its own. Keep it clean and bandaged, trim it so it doesn't stick out beyond your toe. Be very careful not to bump it again. That must have been very painful!Broken toe nail.....?
no cut it off because its dead and when you cut it off it will heal. keep putting clean bandages and stuff on it tho.
