All you have to do is file it off with an emery board file...It should look white after, but that will fade in less than a week and you'll have normal looking nails. It is from polish, you will want to put a clear base coat on first to prevent it next time.

If you paint them alot and its in a dark color then yes probably. I use a buffer its like a nail file with usually 4 sides to it. this smooths the nail and shins it. When painting your nails do a clear coat first. This helped my nails not yellow.
i've heard using whitening toothpaste can help take the yellowness off
yes and take it off with a VERY fine Emory board. be Gentle when you sand it away..don't rub hard.

it will go away on its own soon and in future when painting your nails put a base coat down to protect them then the colour
get a tub and look warm water and a 2/3cups of bleach and leave your hands soak for about 20 mins that should do the trick
