That happened with my finger nail one time. Except I didn't stub it or anything. I just woke up one morning and my finger was swollen. Then my nail started to come off. I started soaking it in baking soda and water. Eventually it just fell off and a new one grew back in its place. It sounds to me that the nail isn't going to heal, it sounds from what you decribed that the nail is detached enough from the toe that eventually the nail bed will dry up and the nail will fall off but don't worry, a new one will grow back. You can always go see your doctor. He'll most likely tell you to soak it in something, maybe baking soda and water or hydrogen peroxide and water just to keep it clean of infection. My toe nail is sorta falling off, HELP!?
I was working in the garden one day and i was cutting a brnach which resulted in 1/4 of my nail getting detached. The nail has healed but will it grow back to 4/4?

I was working in the garden one day and i was cutting a branch which resulted in a quarter of my nail being detached. The nail has healed but the ares it was once attached (the nail bed) is now skin. Will it grow back and will it reattach to the nail bed? As in the pink part grows out more?

Sounds like your toe is infected.
Probably nothing serious, but I'd get to the doc before it gets worse.
