I was cutting my toe nail some time ago,i made it bleed, can't cut because of clot, what treat' do i need?

Must have been cutting them too short - don't do it - you will end up with ingrowing toenails which are extremely painful. Soak in antiseptic to keep nail soft and let it grow out. I understand the appointment situation with the doctor - I have to make an appointment 10 days to two weeks in advance unless it is an emergency!! Infuriating and unhelpful unless you blag it and tell receptionist it is an emergency anyway.I was cutting my toe nail some time ago,i made it bleed, can't cut because of clot, what treat' do i need?
soak you foot in warm water and epsom salt. It will help soften the skin and keep you toe nail from becoming ingrownI was cutting my toe nail some time ago,i made it bleed, can't cut because of clot, what treat' do i need?
if you cant see your dr cos there are no appt available for ages, you can still go to your local nhs drop in centre. call your gp and ask them where the nearest one is or look up your area's primary care trust (PCT) on the internet.

you can also go to a chiropodist (foot doctor) and ask them to assess what treatment you need. this can be done on the nhs usually without the need for a referral by your gp - but the wait for an appointment might be just as long as waiting for a gp appointment.

also always cut straight across (rather than curved round the shape of your toe) when cutting your toenails in future.

I smooshed my finger on the car's door like a month ago and the blood just clotted under my nail, it was gross. I cleaned it with alcohol and just chopped the nail, that blood part. If the blood stays under that nail like that, it becomes black and then some white or blue areas can appear which are molds, now that could be dangerous I guess. Don't let that happen.
Why can;t you see a doctors for two weeks? that part doesnt make sense
Wash the affected area with soap and water and apply an antiseptic.
It just needs to grow out. Warm water will soak away the excess scab.
Soak it. Epsom salts and water as hot as you can stand. That should soften up the scab/clot as well as the nail.

From this point forward, make sure you cut with clippers made for toenails, and always cut straight across, above the side cuticles. :)
