Red because it is sexy and gets alot of attention!
Purple, because it matches the purple lotus tattoo I have on one foot.
On me I like shiny bright red. Sometimes pink/gold/plum but mostly Revlon Red !!!
Why : because it's cheerful and fun, even if everything else I'm wearing is boring old Mum clothes...

Soft pink...or something REALLY bright. If you like your feet, then use a really bright color. If you don't, use something more subtle. (Or a color that matches your swimsuit)
